Oakridge Lumber

Oakridge Lumber is a modern, locally rooted wood supplier based in Medford, reimagining the traditional lumber yard through a more refined and design-conscious lens. The brand shifts away from outdated perceptions of the industry and instead embraces a cleaner, more intentional identity, where structure, material, and presentation feel considered rather than purely functional. From a design standpoint, the brand leans into understated industrial minimalism, neutral tones, strong grid systems, and local topographical textures, creating a visual language that reflects precision, durability, and modern craftsmanship.

The Oakridge Lumber project began with exploring how to reposition a traditional lumber supplier through a more modern, design-forward feel. Initial moodboards focused on industrial minimalism, natural textures, and structured layouts to establish a clear visual tone. From there, I developed a cohesive identity system built around clean typography, balanced spacing, and subtle references to the local town it’s in through textures. Each element was refined to ensure consistency across applications, creating a visual system that feels intentional, contemporary, and grounded in both design and function.
