Who I am
I’m a Graphic Designer based in Lincoln, Nebraska, currently studying Graphic Design and Media Arts at Southeast Community College. My work focuses primarily on branding and marketing design for small businesses and organizations. I’m drawn to projects that require structure, clarity, and strong visual communication. As I continue developing my skills, I’m focused on building a portfolio that is both creative and stands out.
Design Process
My design process begins with research, where I focus on understanding the project’s purpose, tone, and visual direction. I gather references and create a moodboard to explore ideas and identify key elements such as color, typography, and overall style. This stage helps establish a clear foundation before moving into design decisions. I use this process to ensure each project is intentional and aligned with its message.
From there, I begin developing concepts and building out potential directions for the final design. I refine these ideas by focusing on layout, structure, and visual consistency until the project feels cohesive and fully realized. The final stage involves adjusting smaller details and improving overall balance to strengthen the outcome. My goal is to create work that feels polished, purposeful, and visually effective.
